    Rock Hill Tree Commission Recognizes Mrs. Hart's 5th Graders

    The Children's School would like to congratulate Mrs. Randy Hart on being recognized by the Rock Hill Tree Commission on her outstanding work with the current 5th grade class. Mrs. Hart and her students created a web page last school year about Huckle Grove in downtown Rock Hill. As a group, they visited the park several times and researched the various trees found growing there. The students learned interesting facts about each type of tree, as well as the historical significance of the trees

    First Annual Mother/Son Dinner & Dance

    Friday, January 23, 2015, from 7:00-10:00 PM at Saluda Trail Middle School. Tickets available beginning Wednesday, December 10. Early bird pricing is in effect until Friday, January 9. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event. There will be music, dinner, dancing, a photographer, and a silent auction.

    Students Launch 'Changing the Community'

    Two students from The Children's School recently came up with an idea to help the community. Lilly (grade 3) and Lola (grade 2) will conduct monthly service projects, the first being a canned good drive for local shelters. Please see their Facebook page (Lilly & Lola Changing the Community) for details and pick-up locations. Items are due by October 15.
